Specifications: Microsoft Lumia 535

The Lumia 535 Dual SIM , the first one to be announced after Nokia separation, is a device that promises to disturb competition with support for two chips and good camera for selfies. The main feature of this smartphone as compared to Lumia 530, especially if we consider the measures and the device thickness.

The device runs the traditional Windows Phone 8.1 equipped with the update Lumia Denim. By default we find apps like Office, OneNote, Outlook, Onedrive, HERE Maps and Moovit. The highlight will even for system flow and updating security for Windows Mobile 10 when officially launched.

The Lumia 535, which now bears the logo of Microsoft, declined considerably in size when compared to Lumia 530. The thickness reduction of 12 to 9 mm, is one of the most notable changes. The weight also reduced: 146 grams to 129 grams. In general, the visual Lumia 535 Microsoft trademark maintained when devices still took the name of Nokia. The camera on the back gained a slight bulge to accommodate the sensor, and the sound output is centralized and more discreet.

The Lumia 535 display is one of the aspects that stand out in this device. The 5 inch – a considerable increase compared to predecessor – represent the ideal size for consuming content, such as videos and photos.
Another merit is the presence of an IPS panel, replacing the TFT that was present in the Nokia Lumia 530. However, even with this addition, the reflection ratio on the screen is a bit high and the brightness control does not contribute much to improve viewing in unfavorable conditions.

Lumia 535 Dual SIM presents a performance of about average for an entry smartphone. The machine even managed to run some heavy games. Apps productivity, like Office, OneNote and Outlook, showed very smoothly. The same goes for social networks, messengers and light games.

A significant addition to this smartphone is the front sensor. The predecessor did not have a camera on the front, a disappointment for lovers of selfies. Here, the sensor resolution is the same, and the quality less than expected. The 5 megapixels Microsoft Lumia 535 is not enough to produce very definite pictures. Shots in dark environments not pleased and almost all the pictures showed a strong granulation index.

Lumia 535 have 1,905 mAh battery which seems to be about average for the category. In moderate use, consulting social networking, making connections and running some games, the player reached the end of the day with just over 20% charged.
