The latest version of Facebook Messenger for Android will now make voice calls as long as the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
The application, which introduced the concept of chat heads to Android just received an update on Windows Phone and it seems that Facebook development teams are working flat out to present news conference before the development is held marches social network.
The update to Facebook Messenger for Android allows you to call for free, something that begins to match it with WhatsApp and LINE, although in the case of those applications, calls can be made without being necessarily connected to a Wi-Fi network.
The Android update also puts it on a par with that presented for iOS, where it is easy to have group chats and to silence the talk if you want any of the partners. As always, the new version of the app will be updated throughout the day and you can download it from Google Play, for free.
