Telegram is working on constant improvements, bringing new features that make it better than its competitor. And the one just released in version 4.7, available to Android users. Now it is possible to have multiple accounts within the application without the need to use other applications for this.
To use this new feature, you need to update the app in the Play Store and insert the extra chips into the device in order to set up new accounts – a “hand in the wheel” for those who need to, for example, reconcile a personal account and a corporate one. With the app open, already logged in to your account, simply swipe and expand the left side menu, click the arrow next to the name and then add account. The other steps are intuitive and fast. You can manage up to three accounts.
In addition to the multi-account feature, this latest Telegram update came with another ease for its users: just slide a conversation to the left to respond quickly.
While not having the same popularity as WhatsApp, Telegram has a huge number of active users that justify the company’s investments in its system. What prevents it from taking on leadership, as well as the rival’s popularity, is the universe of contacts that do not actively use it, forcing the user to keep both applications on the smartphone.
Do you think Telegram can conquer the mobile messenger market in a go or still need more time?
