Windows Phone is updated with Android: 1080p screens and quad-core micros

Microsoft is preparing a major update to Windows Phone 8 GDR3 , planned for launch later this year and will update the operating system level as compared to Android hardware.



Among the improvements , highlights the native resolutions supporting Full HD (1080 p), increasing the possibility of limited platform terminals currently WVGA (480 x 800), WXGA (1,280 x 768) and 720p (1280 × 720 pixels) .

The 1080p support will allow Windows Phone 8 Android catching up in this area and with its premium smartphones Samsung, LG or Sony.

It will also open the terminal development ecosystem with superior screen at 5 inches and surely to models ‘phablet’ , halfway between tablet and smartphone, and that both are enjoying the users with the Galaxy Note as industry leaders.

General Distribution Release (GDR3) major update for Windows Phone 8, also add support forquad-core microprocessors native processing with ARM RISC architecture , bringing Microsoft mobile system at the height of the mobile terminals over market performance.

Everything looks to be Qualcomm with its new Snapdragon 600 and 800 , chips high power and high integration, used to carry the new Windows Phone 8 with 1080p screens and quad-core to another level, at least in the hardware.
