Google already be preparing to launch the second generation of Nexus 7 . Two sources have confirmed to Reuters that the Mountain View company would start selling the device in July.
The second version of the low-cost tablet will have a higher screen resolution (the Nexus 7 now has 1280 x 800 pixels), over thin bezels and include a Qualcomm processor instead of the Nvidia Tegra 3. The Informers indicate that Google was groping both manufacturers and Qualcomm finally decided on the basis of power.
The device, also manufactured by Asus, could be marketed at a price similar to that currently sells the Nexus 7: 199 euros. The current model could receive a discount and pass cost 149 euros.
It also speculates that the new tablet could come with the next version of Android, Key Lime Pie , incorporated as standard.
For now, Google and Asus have not confirmed or denied the existence of the device. In any case, this is the first time there is news of a second generation of Nexus 7 .Sources indicate that the company expects to ship the big G 8 million tablets in the second half of the year.
