Android will be the big winner in the sale of technological equipment in the world in this 2013. According to forecasts by Gartner, the system promoted by Google 860 900 000 will be installed in equipment, including computers, laptops, tablets and phones, 35% of the total.
With these forecasts, Android clearly defeat Windows, which is installed on more than 354 million technology equipment will be sold throughout 2013. The firm forecasts that sales will continue rising to reach 2.556 million units in 2014 and 2.964 million in 2017.
For Gartner analyst Carolina Milanesi, although there will be some people who will have a PC and a tablet, especially those that use one or both for work and play, most will be satisfied with the experience they get from the tablet as a device main computer. According to Milanesi, as consumers replace the computer for tablets and smartphones , will no longer feel the need to replace your computer regularly.
As a result of these changes, the market for traditional PC and laptops will fall by 7.6% in 2013, to 315 million units, while sales of tablets and mobile will increase by 69% and 7.4% to 197 million terminal and 1.875 million respectively.
