Spotify, the popular music streaming service, has updated its iOS app to support the new iPhone 5 screen and integrate other interesting news.
The most famous service for unlimited music, Spotify has updated its native application to adapt to the new dimensions of the screen of the iPhone 5. If only it were this not the novelty would be great news but the company has taken the opportunity to add the odd extra feature for iOS users.
Spotify Premium 48h for new users
now, if you have not ever tasted, you have 48 hours of free trial for Spotify Premium. Just download the application and log into the user’s Facebook account. After that period, if you still have access to the online catalog should subscribe but if you think some day you can always use the app to listen to music from your local library.
Online Radio USA only
The other big news, unfortunately, is only available on American soil. Spotify for iOS now offers also free, the ability to listen to radios online. For those who also have a premium account, this option is interesting to discover music because if a station while listening to a song comes out we want to add to the library, just press a button and go.
Its a real shame that this latter function arrives no app for our country, but Spotify has not offered an explanation of why this is happening. We assume that has to do with the old problem, copyright, either because they come to our country as Netflix and other similar services.
Does not Apple online radio will leave American territory?
Meanwhile, Apple is preparing to offer its online radio service in 2013, will operate through an iOS native application as now offered for the podcast. However, given what happened with Spotify, we fear the worst for our territory.
