Nokia wins a patent battle against HTC

 Nokia has filed a lawsuit against HTC in April 2012 for infringement of intellectual property fifty types of FRAND. This complaint was renewed in May and the manufacturer has finally obtained an injunction from the court of Amsterdam to block the sale of several HTC smartphones with a microphone manufactured by STMicroelectronics. 

A court in the UK has also decided in favor of Nokia in a case involving the use of network technologies.judge responsible for the case, Sir Richard David Arnold, recognized this patent infringement and the Taiwanese manufacturer has confirmed he would appeal the decision. I must say that it has once again its latest high-end smartphones, including those of the HTC One series.

Resources reported the words of a spokesman for Nokia explains: ” Nokia now require a injunction to prohibit the import and sale of HTC products implicated in the UK as well as financial compensation . ” Similar actions were taken in Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States. In September, the ITC, the commission to regulate trade across the Atlantic had already ruled that HTC violated two patents of Nokia
