RIM updates BlackBerry development tools for 10

Based on the presentation of the BlackBerry platform 10, made during the BlackBerry World earlier this year, Research In Motion (RIM) announced  an update of the model toolkits for developers. The kits are available in beta version for free download http://developer.blackberry.com.

The update includes a number of additional features and news, with emphasis on two sets of APIs – a framework for calling application, which allows full interaction between 10 BlackBerry apps and APIs to push technology, which enable the sending of notifications and other content 10 for BlackBerry devices through the BlackBerry global infrastructure.

“The developers made great progress with the BlackBerry 10. We have seen incredible examples of applications of all categories in development for the BlackBerry platform 10, often in just a few days.
