Between 1990 and 2001 there was a 30% increase in our climate warming.
The concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the phenomenon that causes the global warming which in turn triggers the climate change , last year reached a record high, according to yesterday moved the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The data concluded that between 1990 and 2001 there was a 30% increase in the so-called radiative forcing, which is the effect on our climate warming due to emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases like methane length or nitrous oxide that trap heat in the planet.
Since the beginning of the industrial age in 1750 were released into the atmosphere about 375,000 million tons of carbon as CO2 mainly as a result of burning fossil fuels such as oil or gas.“These billions of additional tons that have come to our atmosphere remain there for centuries, causing further warming the planet”, says the WMO.
