For several weeks, things are rotating around the next version of Microsoft’s OS Windows. Now they drives the point and announced that Windows 9 will be presented on 30 September at a major press conference. Just after the announcement, the OS would be available in beta version for developers only.
They also confirms the arrival of a new Start menu and the disappearance of “Charms bar” in addition to many other design changes. The arrival of the voice assistant Cortana is also mentioned, but its presence in the beta version is not still assured.
Some other projects will be announced at the conference that includes: a new version of Windows Phone and Windows RT, but no details about them are still known. More generally, this event would be entirely focused on “the future of Windows.”
