The popular instant messaging service WhatsApp, could soon be available in a web version, according to resources. WhatsApp mobile boasts over 450 million users.
According to resources, multiple references to a next online platform appear in the code of the mobile application. This would make it possible, from any browser, discuss and share documents with friends or even take advantage of video conferencing. Subscribers may also know from which terminal they log their contacts, as long they are disconnected if they are not reachable.
If the rumor is true, WhatsApp would compete on the Web Skype (Microsoft) and Hangouts (Google).
A subdomain has already been established ( web.whatsapp.com ), although it still leads to nothing.
