Internet giant Yahoo continues its frenzied shopping season this week to announce the acquisition of Player Scale , a company of ‘software’ for game developers to smartphones, tablets, consoles and personal computers.
This purchase comes three days after the announcement of the acquisition, by 1.100 million, the blogging site Tumblr , in order to rejuvenate their audience. “We will continue investing and developing PlayerScale technology,” Yahoo said in a statement, which does not reveal the financial terms of the transaction.
“Our goal has always been to help programmers to design the best games possible,” said the CEO of PlayerScale, Jesper Jensen , in a post. “With the financial support of Yahoo can get great products and improve our platform even faster than before,” he said.
