Who invented the hose?

Made of leather, the first used the head of firefighters in Amsterdam in 1673.  The rubber did not appear until 1835, although this material had come from America at the time of the Catholic Monarchs. His chaplain, Peter Anglería, spoke of a game practiced by the Aztecs and was throwing a ball bouncing on the floor to be made of rubber.

The hose of this material provided greater flexibility than leather and the possibility of rolling it, which caused such a sensation that a notice of the time spoke of her as “the most extraordinary thing I have seen . ” In 1914 he went a step further with the birth of the first synthetic rubber hose. This material was so flexible that allowed manufacturing from bras to shoes, to electrical insulators or preservatives .
