Whether your Redhat Linux (RHEL) Server have 32 bit or 64 bit OS?

cat /etc/redhat-release

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Use below mentioned command to know 32 bit or 64 bit OS (kernel)

root:~# getconf LONG_BIT

 

Issue a uname -m from the command line and it should report something like x86_64 or ppc64 for 64 bit versions.

cat /proc/version

(if you are curious about other stuff you can use these too)
cat /proc/cpuinfo
cat /proc/meminfo
