As recently as a couple of days that came to light that an update that would destined to Sony Xperia S, Xperia SL andAcro S having received certification and the Japanese company has been quick to confirm that information. Sony , through their own the social network Twitter, has made it official that there will be a new firmware update for these three devices, adding also that come in just a few weeks, but have not given an exact date.
As per the resources , apparently this new firmware will help solve many errors exist in the previous update, but also is expected to bring occasional novelty. The models will enjoy this new update are: Sony Xperia S (LT26i) , Sony Xperia SL (LT26ii) and Sony Xperia Acro S (LT26w) .
While it is true that some people believed that it could be Android version 4.2 or Android 4.3, the fact is that eventually it will not be either of these two versions, but that it will be Android 4.1.2 Jelly Brean and as stated above , will focus primarily on solving several existing errors in the current version, but also bring new functions and features, but for the moment it is unknown which will be discussed.
This update may be one of the last for these devices
Currently we know very little information about the new version of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for the Xperia S, Xperia Acro SL and S, but is believed to solve, among other things, the problems that exist at the time of recording video with Full HD 1080p quality problems or to increase the volume of the device with the button on the side.
As for future versions of Android, it is not known whether these three models will receive the update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean at some point or will being forgotten as far as updates are concerned. One reason that makes us think of this possibility is that Sony is focusing all its efforts on powerful new smartphones, which could make the company a little side leave some of their previous models would be found between these three .
