Microsoft has announced the launch in June of the public preview of Windows Blue , the next major update to Windows 8 with relevant changes as the return of the home button or direct jump to the desktop without going through Metro.
Following the announcement of Tami Reller of 100 million licenses sold of Windows 8 , the other head of Microsoft, the corporate vice president of Windows, Julie Larson-Green, confirmed at the Wired business conference delivering a public beta of Windows Blue .
It will be at the World Conference Microsoft Developer BUILD 2013 , to be held from 26 to 28 June 2013 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco and obviously the development of this Windows 8.1 whose final version would be released later this year , will a major role.
Julie Larson-Green, as Reller did a day earlier, said Microsoft “listen to your customers” and left the door open to changes in the system to handle complaints and confusion that has generated the latest version of its operating system .
As I indicated it seems that Blue would boot directly into the desktop without going through the Modern UI interface (Metro) and include the button / start menu in Windows 7 but do not know if the functions of the classic start menu.
