The survey revealed that 51% of adolescents with fewer economic opportunities said use most often, compared with 37% of adolescents from families earning $ 50,000 or more a year.

14% of young people from families earning more than $ 75,000, is the most-visited site, compared to 7% of those whose families earn less than 30,000 per year.
Twitter shows a similar pattern according to income, as richer users interact in it more often than the less well off.
As for how often they visit these social networks, 41% of respondents said that Facebook is the platform used more frequently. Instagram the second shelf is used, with 20%; Snapchat is third with 11% and another 6% said they use Twitter more than other social networks.
Regarding the general use of social networks, the Pew Research Center reported that three-quarters of teens (76%) said they visit them. However, this changes with age, as 68% of adolescents aged 13-14 years use, compared to 81% of older teens who said they were users of them.
When asked about seven specific sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, Google+ and vine), 89% of teens surveyed said they had used at least one of the sites, while two thirds of teens ( 71%) reported the use of two or more sites.
Between 18% of young people who use only one site, 66% is a member of Facebook, Google+ 13% and 13% of Instagram. Only 3% of users of social networks who are single use Snapchat, another 2% said they used a platform not included in the list, including YouTube, while less than 2% claimed to be users of Twitter, or Tumblr Parra as their only social network.
