Samsung S9 UHD became the first TV quality certificate awarded by European and American companies, thanks to its image quality, resolution and 3D sound
Madrid, March 25, 2013 – We confirm that the new TV company has been internationally recognized with the prestigious certificate authorities UL, TUV Rheinland and Intertek, for its impressive image quality, 3D performance and spectacular quality sound. This is the first time that the quality UHD receives an award of this nature.
UL, a world leader in certification, tested the TV picture quality Samsung S9 UHD, analyzing its brightness and color uniformity, viewing angle and resolution, as well as 3D capabilities and audio output. Thanks to its performance, UL has given us the first UHD performance validation.
Meanwhile, TUV Rheinland, the leading German certification, has confirmed the superior quality of our UHD. This, after exhaustive tests of image quality based on the viewing distance in large TVs UHD (compared to standard models for non UHD).
Intertek, the quality solutions provider based in the UK, has also recognized the superior picture quality of Samsung S9 UHD, based on the uniformity of brightness and color, brightness, viewing angle and resolution with QPM. The latter, a symbol of their high quality and performance (Quality and Performance Mark), was first awarded in the category of TV UHD.
QPM has been obtained by a rigorous and formal review, which includes specific tests designed for this product. All this to ensure that Samsung UHD is in the upper echelon in its category in terms of functionality, life cycle, usability and process.
Samsung S9 UHD, which was presented at CES 2013, has more than 8 million pixels, four times that of Full HD TVs, and offers a picture resolution and excellent sharpness and depth.
With these awards, we will continue to drive the achievement of certificates for UHD and other models.
