Verizon Wireless and Nokia have confirmed to begin selling a new Lumia exclusively this fall. This is the Nokia Lumia 822. The device is expected to boost the efforts of the Finnish firm to compete against Apple and Samsung .
The Nokia Lumia 822, which operates with Microsoft Windows Phone software 8, has an 8 megapixel camera and wireless charging battery, Nokia has confirmed Monday. In addition, the device will allow LTE connection and integrates all Nokia services, including Nokia Drive navigation system and music service Nokia Music.
So far have not provided details on pricing or exact dates of when it will be available for sale the new Nokia 822. For its part, AT & T itself has confirmed it will begin selling the Lumia 820 and 920 in early November. These are two of the smartphones of Nokia’s most advanced.
Nokia, which previously held the lead in the mobile sector has lagged in the lucrative business of smartphones, where Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy devices are dominant. The new Lumia line is key to recovery hopes the new terminal Nokia and Verizon will market is key.
