Motorola Xplay: a 6.3 inch Phablet

By -

Last year, Motorola and Google have talked about smartphones that were about the right size, suggesting that the future flagship smartphone the company does not correspond to the size of similar devices from the competition. “Some like a big screen, but there is a sweet spot for consumers that we are overtaking on the market,” said Chief Jim Wicks Motorola design the month of April. “There are people who love a big screen, but there are also many people who want something that is pretty much normal.

Moto X launched in August 2013 had a 4.7-inch screen and a resolution of 720p, while competitors were offering more 5-inch screen that displays a higher resolution of 1080p. However, Motorola has launched smartphones 5 inches last year, even if they are only available on Verizon.

This would be a great surprise to see land US-China brand in the market phablet. This Motorola Xplay incorporate a screen of 6.3 inches (hence the name phablet is not “smartphone”).  Side specifications, this model would be similar technical features of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra with a 800 quad core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 3050 mAh battery.

Brand Morotorola launch a terminal large screen phablet type that is supposed to counter the iPhon6 this year, Lenovo acquired by Google earlier this year aims.

In fact, a source close to the case revealed this information and stated that phablet 6 inches should be marketed in the third quarter of 2014, although actual release date for the combine was not available.
