Nokia has sold in the fourth quarter, more than 4.4 million Lumia phones, according to the latest figures from the company itself . It is a very remote from those with Samsung or Apple but better than expected and has helped in the quarter Nokia sold a total of more than 15 million smartphones.
That amount includes a platform, Symbian, about to disappear and move less units and Windows Phone but also a low range revitalized thanks to Asha phone line.
Asha in Sanskrit means “hope” (better not get into the meanings of Lumia) and the truth is that for this end Finnish brand is working as well as that of smartphones. Asha Some models can be classified as Smartphones-hence displayed on the computer-even if they are far from the functionality and power based phones have iOS, Android, Windows Phone or BBOS.
Altogether Nokia has sold more than 86 million phones, less than in the same quarter last year and less sales revenue but still standing to fight another assault.
