The South Korean manufacturer LG Electronics technology presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona its new range of “smartphone” Optimus L Series II, the company said today in a statement.
The Seoul-based company will show for the first time at the event, the largest European mobile phone to be held from 25 to 28 February in the “Barcelona”, an enhanced version of its successful Optimus L, whose sales in worldwide have reached 10 million units.
The new Optimus L3 II models, 3.2 inches; L5 II, 4 inches, and L7 II, 4.3 inches, have in common the use of Google’s Android operating system, a new design “more refined” and seamless contour “Laser Cut” and intelligent LED lighting.
In addition, the new range of smartphones will feature an enhanced version of its security applications, and special features like “QuickMemo” to capture and share handwritten contents on the screen with other users.
The new models also can be customized by users with hotkeys for camera or music player, and counted with the “Care Safety” for emergency broadcasts or detect its location.
The largest of the new range, the L7 II, will have a dual core processor of 1 gigahertz and memory up to 4 GB, 768 MB RAM and Micro SD card.
It will also have an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front, while its operating system will be the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Its size is 12 inches high by 6.6 wide and have a thickness of less than 1 cm, the company said in its statement.
