Google has released its traditional monthly survey with the market share of the different versions of Android in the month of November 2012, and although the problem of fragmentation is evident, there is evidence that gradually the latest versions of Android will extending their use .

In fact, 34.2% of users use Android Ice Cream Sandwich or higher, a significant improvement compared to the data of only six months ago, when ICS only reaches 7% of Android devices.

While both Ice Cream Sandwich (27.5% share) and Jelly Bean (6.7%) are growing, Android 2.3.x Gingerbread is still the dominant version of the devices based on Google’s mobile platform, which reveals that much remains to be done on the issue of platform updates, especially on the part of operators to delay indefinitely the updates for many of its devices.
