HP Chromebook 11 withdraws sales due to overheating issues

Since early October, Google and HP offered the Chromebook 11. Sales are now suspended, following customer complaints about overheating during use. Google announced on Wednesday a temporary suspension of marketing its ultraportable. The output in the hexagon should be delayed.

The Chromebook 11 unveiled in early October by Google and HP running Chrome OS. This is a model that has some improvements over previous models. The Chromebook offers a 11 IPS screen of 11.6 inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It has no fan. This may be one reason for this overheating currently encountered. It displays a weight of 1.04 kg. Its battery allows a range of 6.5 hours. It features a 5250 heart Samsung Exynos dual processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz and supported by 2GB of memory on ARM architecture, a webcam and a VGA camera angle the screen 176 °. It features the Wi-Fi 802.11n dual-band and Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G optional. The hard disk of this Chromebook 11 is a 32GB SSD and it has a storage space of 100 GB in Google Drive for a period of 24 months. It is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports and a micro USB socket provided for recharging the battery. Both groups show that for those who still have their Chromebook 11 and have not returned, it is preferable to use this micro-USB port to recharge their PC and leave the charger supplied with the computer . The Chromebook was 11 currently marketed in the U.S. and some European countries. It should be available soon in France, however, this overheating problem will delay its release.
