Apple has begun to reveal some details of its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) annually, which will take place between 10 and 14 June in San Francisco and is the largest event specifically focused developers iOS and Mac OS X.
The Cupertino company has confirmed will provide information on upcoming versions of its iOS and OS X platforms as it sells tickets . Each is priced at $ 1,599 and attendees will be members of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or the Mac Developer Program, also can be acquired only one ticket per person, or five per organization, says the company on its website .
“We are delighted to showcase the latest advances in software technologies and development tools that help create new and innovative applications,” said Philip Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Apple.
Attendees will have the opportunity to attend more thanone hundred technical sessions , including those focusing on the latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS and OS X, and how to improve the quality, design, performance and functionality of an application.
During the WWDC last year the company introduced the platform iOS 6, which included Apple Maps, heavily criticized by users when they finally reached him later that year.
The announcement about the WWDC comes just a day after Apple has presented the results for its second economic fiscal quarter. With a turnover of 43,600 million, 11% more than the same period last year, the company has won 9,500 million, down 18%. This is the first fall in profits for the company in the last ten years.
